- Black tailed jackrabbit
- Cotton tail bunny
- Road runners (came right though our campsite!)
- Turkeys
- White tail deer
- Woodpecker
- Cardinal
- Bats
- Coyotes (heard a pack of 7)
- White owl
- Prairie dog (he was digging a hole in our campsite so we named him Franklin)
- Fresh Bobcat paw prints
- Mourning doves
- Small fishies in the creek
